You can come and meet us during a very special event.

A gathering with The Right Honourable Stephen Timms MP, who is the Chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Faith In Society. Mr Timms will be visiting the Cathedral Innovation Centre in Portsmouth on Friday the 24th of January 2014 and during the visit he will be re-launching the Portsmouth Interfaith Forum. We would be delighted if you could join us either from 1.15 PM to 3 PM to include Mr Timms speaking and an opportunity to chat over lunch, or at 2.15 PM for the official re-launch of the Interfaith Forum itself.

We are taking this step now because:
Of recent challenges faced by some communities and the attendant media attention. Our communities need to stand together.
Of the changing social and economic climate. There are opportunities to enhance what we do to respond to pressing social and employment needs.
There are a number of members of our communities in business, in education, in public service who would welcome fresh ways to meet focused on common concerns.
We believe the faith communities of our city should be celebrated and celebrate together.

We now have an office base, some administrative help and plans to develop the work creatively so that our Forum is both meaningful locally and innovative in the way that it is addressing our common needs and hopes in a national context.

We hope that you, or your representative, will be able to join us at the Cathedral Innovation Centre, Cathedral House63 to 68 St. Thomas's StreetOld PortsmouthPortsmouthHampshirePO1 2HA; on Friday the 24th of January 2014 to get things under way.
